Followed by our continuing performance workshop
Resistance Project Workshop 2019.05.07
Kesia, Lauren, and I explored, through movement, what microaggressions mean.
We also discussed what monolithic paradigms mean to us.
And I offered this thought:
Microaggressions are very small acts that can be felt in big ways
Monolithic Paradigms––particularly those around race and gender––are often built on narrow/small concepts or stereotypes
Here’s what we generated:
Dancers are Lauren and Kesia
Duane is choreographer
We do not own any rights to the music
